Hi I am Jam – Co-Founder of Just Juno Weddings

Structure-obsessed, logistics whizz, Negroni Sbagliato fan, and proud cat dad to the original Juno... and the guy who’s usually found on-site in the early hours setting up lights, prepping logistics, and making sure the DJ has everything they need before the party kicks off.
I didn’t always work in weddings. In fact, I never imagined I’d end up here—but looking back, it makes perfect sense.
My journey started in London, and like many people in their twenties, I had a curveball thrown my way. I was made redundant very suddenly from my retail job, and with no real plan in place, I decided to go work abroad—and never really came back. I spent the next few years working in travel, managing resorts for British tour operators across Italy, Austria, and France.
I met Emma while working in the travel industry. She was always the big ideas person, and after several years, she convinced me to pivot into events. As it turns out, she was right (as usual). I loved the pace, the pressure, and the satisfaction of watching an event come together after months of planning.
We eventually launched Just Juno Weddings together—Emma brought the creative spark, and I brought the spreadsheets and the structure. We complement each other perfectly.
“I get a huge amount of personal satisfaction from organising things and watching people enjoy them. There’s nothing better than seeing it all come together on the day.”
Before launching the business, I gained valuable experience working for an event design company on Lake Garda, focusing on logistics, build, and lighting for events for brands like Bulgari, Hugo Boss, Ferrari, Ray-Ban, and Pitti Uomo. That experience gave me a solid foundation in managing high-pressure setups, tight timelines, and large-scale teams—skills I now bring into every wedding we plan.
Since we planned our first vineyard wedding together until today, the transformation has been incredible.
One of my proudest moments?
Watching Just Juno grow from a couple of weddings in our first season to now being fully booked year after year. It’s a real testament to the work we put in—and the trust our couples place in us.
I’ll never forget one of our earliest weddings where the couple didn’t want to invest in a Plan B structure—even though the forecast looked shaky. The day before their wedding, we finally convinced them to rent a few gazebos at the last minute. I spent hours building them myself, and just as dinner began, the heavens opened. It was torrential—but everyone stayed dry, happy, and completely unfazed. That’s the kind of problem-solving that makes the long days worth it.
What Makes Just Juno Different?
For starters, we're one of the only couples running a wedding planning business in Italy, which gives our clients a more personal, connected experience. We also live full-time in Italy, speak both English and Italian, and bring decades of combined experience in both the corporate and hospitality worlds.
We don’t take commissions or kickbacks from suppliers. Instead, we charge a flat-rate fee and give our full attention to each wedding, staying until the very last supplier leaves. No quick exits. No passing things off. We're there for the full journey—start to finish.
My Planning Style
I’m all about structure, process, and flow. Every wedding is approached like a carefully crafted timeline, where each element builds on the next. That helps us make thoughtful decisions, avoid last-minute stress, and ensure that nothing is missed. I genuinely enjoy venue and vendor sourcing—it feels like a treasure hunt, matching the perfect team to the couple’s vision and watching it all come to life.
Another part of the day I secretly love?
Standing with the bride just before the ceremony. While Emma’s making sure everything is in place, I get the honour of being the last person they see before walking in. It’s always a charged, emotional, once-in-a-lifetime moment—and I never take it for granted.
Favourite Moments
There’s always a moment during the reception—usually right after the first dance—where everyone floods the dance floor. The energy is unreal. It gives me goosebumps every time.
Whether we’re planning a celebration on the shores of Lake Garda, in the hills of Tuscany, or (hopefully soon) on the snowy slopes of the Dolomites—my goal is simple: to make the day feel effortless, smooth, and deeply personal to every couple we work with.
If you’re looking for planners who’ll stay late, plan hard, and bring a calm, confident energy to your Italian wedding—we’d love to chat.
